This is a journal of exploration and discovery, and a search for context for my pottery. I delight in following rabbit trails, allowing questions to arise as I work on a piece and then researching to find answers. A simple spice jar may lead to a romp through history, medicine, chemistry, and world cuisines. This richness of context imbues the piece with meaning.
